Teeth, Cars and Weddings

Nightmare visit to the dentist occurred on Monday - a filling.  Was assured that now dentists have silent drills and yukky putty to numb horrid injection pain.   Yukky numbing putty was just that and never felt a thing when the needle plunged in.  Silent drill was NOT silent and instead very noisy. In fact, found myself raising a hand in some sort of pleading manner because the damn drill hurt! I believe I even managed to arch my eyebrows in a downwards form and add a sorrowful expression to my eyes - must have worked because Mr Dentist Man stopped drilling away and immediately jabbed me with another needle.  Twenty minutes it was over and I had a mouth that felt like a brick was in it.

Ahh, cars... the Kia has gone.  Sadly. Lovely 1.2L car. Must remember to write to Kia, (Korea?) to tell them.  Had some sort of problem with me driving 55mph along the A47 and on would click the management light - explains why the hooter would honk of own accord, and the indicator link would stay on when switched off.  Kia though, assured me all was ok!  Apart from the silver paint falling off, yeah, it was a fab car.  Now have a Mazda 3, and a 1.6 litre engine.  Still drive 55mph (to save petrol) but boy, can I overtake a lorry now! No missing  the junction because I'm still overtaking.  I feel Up There with the Big Boys now. Oh yes.

And the wedding ... in 10 days I will be married.  It'[s a small wedding in a windmill but crikey, still so much to do.  Am currently on-the-bottle with the stress of it all - well a small tipple come evening. Goodness, takes a lot to remember important wedding items such as the corkscrew opener ...
